If you're craving a quick and indulgent dessert that tastes like a bakery masterpiece, these Blueberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are your answer. Ready in under 30 minutes, they combine creamy cheesecake filling, juicy blueberries, and a buttery, golden crescent crust with a crumbly topping. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a last-minute sweet treat!

Ingredients

Makes 8 servings

  • 1 cream cheese
  • 1 sugar
  • 2 vanilla
  • 1 blueberries
  • 2/3 flour
  • 1/4 butter
  • 2 sugar

Method

  1. Unroll crescent dough; separate into 8 triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 Tbsp. sugar, and 1 teaspoons vanilla. Mix until smooth.

  3. Fold in blueberries.

  4. Fill each crescent triangle with approximately ¼ cup filling. My note: (you may want to measure out 8 servings of this mixture in a separate dish so you don't run out. If needed add extra blueberries to make 8 separate fillings for the rolls).

  5. Fill each crescent triangle with approximately ¼ cup filling.

  6. Tuck edges to seal. My note: Gently form them into rectangles.

  7. In a separate bowl, combine flour, 2 Tbsp. butter, and 2 Tbsp. sugar. Mix until crumbly.

  8. Divide evenly among crescent rolls and sprinkle on top of each roll.

  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown. Check the bottoms at 9 minutes and watch carefully.

Cook's notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of lemon zest to the cream cheese filling.
  • Make sure to seal the crescent dough edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking during baking.
  • If your blueberries are frozen, do not thaw them first; fold them in directly to avoid excess moisture.

Frequently asked

Can I use a different fruit instead of blueberries?

Absolutely! Raspberries, blackberries, or chopped strawberries work wonderfully. Adjust sugar slightly if using very tart fruit.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes, you can assemble the rolls and refrigerate them unbaked for up to 24 hours. Add the crumble topping just before baking.

What if I don't have crescent roll dough?

You can substitute with puff pastry sheets cut into triangles, though baking time may vary slightly.
