Editorial Policy
What we publish, where it came from, who is accountable for it, and the rules we do not bend.
Where our recipes come from
Recipe cards on recipesvibrant are built from Food.com and other openly shared cooking datasets. Original creator credits stay on the page, the original recipe is kept as shared, and each card links back to the recipe it was built from. We do not copy recipe text from other publishers.
Where our editorial comes from
Headnotes, substitutions, tips and FAQs on recipe pages — plus the buying guides in /guides/ — are written for recipesvibrant. Guide content was recovered from archived snapshots of this site's earlier editions, refreshed and fact-checked against current products. Editorial notes are reviewed before publishing; any error can be reported on the contact page and will be corrected.
How we make money
We do not accept payment for rankings, ratings, or inclusion. If a link ever earns us a commission, it will be labelled on the page it appears on. Product picks in guides are not for sale.
Ratings and reviews
Where a recipe shows a star rating and review count, those figures come from the original dataset the recipe card was built from — they are the source community's rating, not ours, and are shown with that provenance in mind.
Corrections
Corrections are made promptly and the page keeps a modified date. Report anything that looks wrong via the contact page — include the URL and what needs changing.
Independence
Nobody outside the site can pay to appear in a recipe, a category, or a guide. Categories and collections are organized by topic, and ordering within them never changes for money.
