- 3 slices bread white or whole wheat, toasted
- 4-6 strips bacon cooked crispy
- 4 oz sliced turkey or chicken breast
- 2-3 lettuce leaves
- 2-3 tomato slices
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 toothpicks
Toast bread slices until golden brown and let cool slightly.
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each toast slice.
On the first slice (mayo side up), layer lettuce, tomato slices, salt, and pepper.
Place the second slice of toast on top (mayo on both sides).
Add turkey or chicken, then bacon strips.
Top with the third slice of toast (mayo side down).
Insert toothpicks in each quarter to hold layers together.
Cut diagonally into triangles and serve immediately.
