Ingredients
  

  • 3 slices bread white or whole wheat, toasted
  • 4-6 strips bacon cooked crispy
  • 4 oz sliced turkey or chicken breast
  • 2-3 lettuce leaves
  • 2-3 tomato slices
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 toothpicks

Instructions
 

  • Toast bread slices until golden brown and let cool slightly.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each toast slice.
  • On the first slice (mayo side up), layer lettuce, tomato slices, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the second slice of toast on top (mayo on both sides).
  • Add turkey or chicken, then bacon strips.
  • Top with the third slice of toast (mayo side down).
  • Insert toothpicks in each quarter to hold layers together.
  • Cut diagonally into triangles and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for better texture and flavor.
  • Pat tomatoes dry to prevent soggy bread.
  • Toast bread until golden but not too dark to avoid breaking when cutting.
